Irving’s history of the settling of Astoria, much of which was taken directly from Astor himself. Brown leather gilt with floral designs, and green cloth with an embelished initial. Contains numerous plates tipped-in; gilt tops with untrimmed edges. Volume 1 with a chipped spine head; both with some toning to the leather and gentle rubbing to the corners. Very fine interiors.
