In 23 volumes. Charles Scribner’s Sons, New York; 1900. 1st edition thus. Illustrated with frontispieces and 2 fold-out maps. Decorated red cloth. 8vo. Very good+.
An exceptional set of Stevenson’s works, in bright red cloth with gilt designs to the shelfbacks, borders and titling. Each with a frontispiece, and 2 volumes come with folding maps. Tops are gold, with rough-cut edges and tails. Light occasional wear; The Master of Ballantyne is missing its front free endpaper. Very fine interiors altogether.
