A hard-to-find 1st edition collection from Kiskaddon, whom most consider the cowboy poet laureate of 20th century America. Illustrated with many headpieces depicting the West, and bound in the original brown wraps. Taped section to the spine and light wear to the covers and edges. Previous owner’s inscription on the front free endpaper. Else a fine interior.

Bruce Kiskaddon (1878–1950) has been called the quintessential cowboy poet of the 20th century and is widely considered to be the cowboy poet laureate of America.[1] His poems were widely published in calendars and books throughout his lifetime. In the mid-1980s, the birth of the cowboy poetry renaissance renewed interest in his work.
