Poems by Clive Bell

Richmond, Surrey: The Hogarth Press, 1921. 1st edition. Limited edition of 350 copies. Original patterned paper wraps.  29 pp. 12mo. Very good.

A much sought-after collection of poetry, designed, printed and hand-bound by Virginia and Leonard Woolf at their Hogarth Press. Finely sewn with pink thread. Toned exterior, as usual; touch of creasing and wear to the edges. Beautiful and very scarce copy.

The Hogarth Press was a British publishing house founded in 1917 by Leonard Woolf and Virginia Woolf. It was named after their house in Richmond, in which they began hand-printing books).
